Three men were riding motorcycles when one crashed, breaking his leg.
The quick-thinking trio activated their personal locator beacon and police arrived to provide assistance.
The Queensland Government Air’s Rescue 510 helicopter transported the injured man to Cairns Hospital for treatment.
