The Indian National Maritime Search and Rescue Board (NMSRB) has chosen the Indian Mission Control Centre (INMCC) of the Department of Space to receive its 2022-2023 Search and Rescue (SAR) award for facilitating sea rescue in Southeast Asia.
The Indian Mission Control Centre supports search and rescue services (SPOCs) in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
